Convert your CTC into monthly in-hand salary after PF, gratuity, professional tax and income tax, under the old or new regime.
Your cost to company (CTC) includes money you don't receive each month:
From the remaining gross salary, your own PF (12% of basic), professional tax and income tax are deducted.
With 50% basic, PF on full basic and gratuity in the CTC, about ₹85,000 a month in the new regime, which pays no income tax at this level.
PF and gratuity are based on basic + DA. A higher basic means more retirement savings but less monthly take-home.
It is part of your CTC but goes into your PF account, not your bank account.
